Schedules & Rosters
Developmental soccer is the second level of our introductory curriculum. Individual technical skills and small-sided games are the focus for the U7 & U8 players while the U9 & U10 players focus on 1v1 skills and tactical/spatial awareness. Fun and discovery learning are always a large part of the Developmental age groups. The Developmental season is 5-6 weeks in length.
U9/U10 teams consist of 10-11 players and play 7 a-side games. Teams usually meet twice a week on weeknights training on one night and playing a game on the second night of the week. Parental/volunteer coaches follow a specially designed curriculum created by our Developmental Coordinator.
U7/U8 teams will move to a 6-7 player roster and play 4 a-side games on a smaller field. Teams will meet twice a week on weeknights training on one night and playing a game on the second night of the week. Parental/volunteer coaches follow a specially designed curriculum created by our Developmental Coordinator.
Playing a smaller-sided game on a smaller field will bring us in alignment with age-appropriate norms established by the US Youth Soccer. Players will experience more touches of the ball and more time in possession of the ball, which in turn will allow for better technical development, more opportunities for decision-making, and better overall development of our players.

Program Description
All teams will be led by a parental coach, there will be no academy training or coaches. If we have a shortage of parental coaches the club will hire coaches for those teams.
COACHES ARE NEEDED, PLEASE VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME! Even just to be a team manager and HELP the coach when he/she has conflicts. Click the volunteer button on the registration page if you are willing to help out!

Program Fee - $60.00
Registration begins on June 1
FALL 2023 SPECIFIC INFORMATION:
6 1/2 week season:
August 21-25 - two team practices
August 28-29 - one practice
September 7-8 - one game
September 11-15 - one practice and one game
September 18-19 - one game
September 25-29 - one practice and one game
October 2-3 - one game
October 5-6 - make-up games
A total of THREE team practices prior to the first game.
U7Girls (2017) do all activities on Tue/Fri schedule at 5:30
U8Girls (2016) do all activities on Tue/Fri schedule. Practice at 6:45, games at 5:30 or 6:45
U9/10Girls (2014 & 2015) do all activities on Tue/Fri schedule. Practice at 6:45, games at 5:30 or 6:45.
U7Boys (2017) do all activities on Mon/Thur schedule at 5:30.
U8Boys (2016) do all activities on Mon/Thur schedule at 6:45.
U9/10Boys (2014 & 2015) do all activities on Tue/Fri schedule at 5:30
