How Your Support Helps Our Growth
The Kearney Soccer Club, a private 501(c)(3) non-profit youth sports club, has served the Kearney community for over 30 years. The club offers a full range of soccer programs from Micro (5-6 years old) though Developmental (7-10 years old) and Select (11-14 years old) and concluding with high school players through its Nebraska Select & United programs. KSC is focused on promoting and developing fun and educational opportunities for our younger players while providing high level instruction and competition for our older players. Our hope is to give children a chance to play in a competitive positive environment, whether a child is at the beginning stages of soccer or striving to play at the collegiate level.
In recent years, Kearney Soccer Club has experienced continual growth; we are excited for the future of the Club and the sport. This current year, we have over 1,000 registered players; with over 600 players in our formative programs and over 400 in our competitive programs. While a large majority of our players reside in the immediate Kearney area, we do have many players from the central Nebraska region - which includes players from the following communities: North Platte, Lexington, Sandhills, Holdrege, Hastings, Minden, Grand Island, York, Columbus and Norfolk.
As we look to the future, we anticipate further growth in registration. Kearney Soccer Club seeks to acquire sponsorships to facilitate the growth of our club, which includes funds for additional equipment, fields, training staff, financial aid for qualified players and support of our season programs and tournaments.
