Boys and Girls born in 2014 and 2015

Competitive soccer is the level of soccer between our Developmental program and our Select program. It is designed to provide a higher level of training, teaching and competition than that of our Developmental program, yet it is not as comprehensive as our Select program is in terms of cost or commitment. Our Competitive program is the direct lead-in to our Select program.  Parental/volunteer coaches (with weekly support from professional staff coaches) utilize an academy system of training under the direction of our Director of Coaching. Teams train twice a week, and play a mixed schedule of tournament, league and friendly games.  Most events are held on weekends within a 2-3 hour distance from Kearney.

The KSC Competitive Program is offered to ALL of our U9 & U10 players who wish to play in a more competitive environment. (There is a requirement that players have participated in KSC developmental soccer at least one season in the last 2 years.) 

Program Description For 2023-2024 
WE will continue to utilize an Academy System in regard to practices, tournaments and games.  All players with the same birth year will be placed in a single pool of players.  All events will be determined by player availability, including whether to attend an event and how many teams we may enter in each event.  There are no set teams, team makeup will change from event to event.

There are differences in registration, cost, and operation of the U9 program from that of the U10 program. Please be sure to carefully read the information sheet for your age group.
 

UPDATE - SPRING 2024
  
U10 players who played in the fall do NOT need to register for the spring season.  New U10 players will need to register for the spring season.

ALL U9 players (returning and new), WILL have to register for spring 2024!  Returning players do not need to order new uniforms, new players will need to order new uniforms - see below.
 

Under 9 (players born in 2015) Program Fee - $155.00 each season.   
All New Players will also have a one-time uniform fee - uniforms are ordered separately. All U9 players must register for the fall and spring seasons.
